Same design as most roof fans. Designed for a limited life. It is made with bushings that require oil. It is impossible to oil this motor. When it burns out, I'll pull the motor and cut out the bracket. I have side vents where I will attach a new fan with a quality motor.
Seized up and stopped working within 3-4 months. Also mounting brackets are cheap and anything but universal. Had to fabricate my own mounting brackets. Do not waste your money or time with this product.

Is OK for attics fans we used it for a floor fan air output is low but still very usable
Perfect replacement for a 25 years old Certain Teed attic fan. Seems well built and of good quality. ##In my case, removing the fan blade was a pain in the neck. I had to take the motor apart to expose the opposite side of the shaft. If I had to do it again, I would have bought a new fan blade. Hopefully it will last a long time.
Perfect Replacement - Runs Great!
This was a perfect replacement for a burned out motor. Easy install and a new fan purchased at the same time went on with no problems. It runs quietly.
This is the exact replacement motor for the unity that is installed in my attic. I wish that the motor had oil-free bearings, because this is the second time that I've had to replace it- I assume because the bearings burn out. Regardless, you will probably have to replace the motor every five to seven years. Just thought you would want to know.
Works as advertised.
Item works as advertised. Quiet. Runs all day. Kicks on as needed. Replace the thermostat as well when working on it. Cheap and easy to do.
Works but designed to fail in a few years
Works as designed but is designed to fail in a few years. Bottom bearing gunks up causing increase friction causing increase amp draw causing winding to short out (open / fail) causing a need for replacement with new one. No other "mouse trap" to fill my need.
Install was easy and the motor is smooth and quiet
This fit perfectly to replace my old attic fan motor. Install was easy and the motor is smooth and quiet.
Ordered two and received them three days later. Installation was self evident following info on the instruction sheet. The instruction sheet made no mention of a lubrication schedule so I called the manufacturer's tech support and learned there is no requirement for periodic lubrication.
A suitable replacement
A good replacement for the cheap motors found on attic ventilators. Of course, this motor is no better, but at least it gets the job done. Just be aware, you will have to replace this motor in a few years, just like the original.
New motor revives old attic exhaust vent fan
The lomanco motor was the exact motor I had on my attic exhaust roof vented fan. I just had to remove the fan propeller and then several screws to un-mount the old motor and replace the three wires to the electrical power source. Fan works like new
Replacement Power Vent Motor
Exact replacement for older model Lomanco motor, F051082944, making change out of 12 year original Power Vent motor trouble free. Read other reviews and recommendations before installing motor and opted to unbolt motor from inside the attic and remove motor with fan blade from rooftop after removing vent cover. Yes, this requires two trips into the attic and onto the roof but did not feel comfortable bending the motor supports and trying to do everything from inside the attic. Not sure how one reviewer removed fan motor from the roof as I was unable to access the nuts holding the motor on the support arms from the rooftop. Replacement of old motor is straight forward for DIYer with average mechanical and electrical skills. Word of caution to those with steeper pitched roofs. Please take necessary precautions to ensure safe access to and from roof vent location or hire someone to change out motor for you.
Fan works great.
Perfect. I ordered the correct fan and it fit perfectly in the old housing. I think the main thing to measure is the length of the old shaft. The attic fan running makes a big difference on the efficiency of the central air and it's ability to keep the upstairs comfortable. I have no complaints with this vendor or with this product.
Installed with no issues. Been working about a month now with no problems. Exact replacement for my previous motor.
Beware, waste of money!
I'd give this a zero if I could one week after the return window expired it stopped working I do not recommend save your money its junk
Easy exact replacement for my power ventilator in my attic
Easy exact replacement for my power ventilator in my attic. Literally a 15 minute job at the most. Just move the fan blade from old motor and place onto this new motor and reinstall motor and wiring. Very easy DIY project.

A great product! Had it installed and running in 15 minutes.
I replaced it myself!
Perfect match. This was a little difficult to locate locally, but I can always depend on Amazon to have an obscure part. It's installed and running perfectly.

Saved me from having to replace my attic ventilator at a fine price.
Lucky this motor is still available.
Easy install and motor works great. Original motor was date stamped 12/2000 and lasted 16 years.
Keeps my attic cool
It works, appears to be more powerful than the motor it replaced. I replace my attic fan motor, after 15 years it bit the dust.

PERFECT AND IT WORKS GREAT ON OUR ATTIC EXHAUST FAN DID NOT HAVE TO GO ALL OVER TO FIND AND A GOOD PRICE. DELIVERY WAS GREAT ALSO.
Well made replacement motor.
Great replacement fan motor for my roof vent. Runs quietly and it has openings near the bearings so you can add oil.
Motor shipped without stator. Stay away from this vendor.
Went to install the motor and found the whole stator assembly missing out of the motor. The only thing in the box was the loose housing around the rotor. Now, I am no electrician but I believe when you order a motor you expect it to be complete and that the two main parts of any electric motor is the rotor and stator. without one or the other you only have a shiny paperweight. Returned for refund.
